Our Conference to Continuum of Care Model is a trauma-informed reentry strategy built on the belief that one event isn’t enough. Women need sustained, intentional support that begins during incarceration and continues through their return to the community.
It starts with our ReUp Conference, offering hope, empowerment, and resources — along with a platform for women to share their voices. From there, the conference serves as the entry point to a continuum of personalized services designed to promote healing, stability, and long-term success both pre- and post-release.
"ReUp"- (Renewing Expectations – Unlocking Potential) is a signature outreach of our organization’s ongoing humanitarian efforts behind prison walls. More than just an event, "ReUp" is a movement of restoration, advocacy, and hope for justice-involved women who are often overlooked and unheard.
This powerful two-day intensive conference is designed to pour life, faith, and opportunity back into incarcerated women, reminding them that no matter where they are, their story isn’t over — it’s just beginning.
The journey begins inside correctional facilities with our Re-Up Conference, providing women with inspiration, hope, encouragement, and direct access to reentry resources.
During the conference, women complete surveys to help us better understand their needs, experiences, and barriers. This feedback shapes our programs and ensures we remain responsive to the population we serve.
Conference participants can enroll in T.H.R.I.V.E. Each participant will also receive a workbook, giving them the opportunity to attend T.H.R.I.V.E. virtually through their Securus tablet, ensuring access to ongoing support and preparation for release.
Graduates of T.H.R.I.V.E. can receive parole support letters and certificates to include in their parole review process, helping demonstrate their readiness for successful reentry
Upon release, women have access to transitional housing and wraparound services. We’re actively preparing a 120-bed reentry facility in Midland-Odessa to provide safe housing, employment services, behavioral health support, and more.
Our care cycle continues post-release through T.R.A.P., a mobile app that keeps women connected to the Re-Up community. The app offers encouragement, mentorship, resources, and direct access to Tiwangi and the team, helping foster community and accountability while reducing the risk of recidivism.
Re-Up creates a powerful space to listen, learn, and connect directly with the women we serve. Through personal stories, conversations, and on-site surveys, we gain valuable insight into their reentry needs — emotionally, practically, and spiritually.
This real-time feedback informs the design of our programs, helping us create healing spaces and services that truly meet their needs. The experiences and voices shared at Re-Up directly shape our T.H.R.I.V.E. pre-release course and guide the development of future housing and reentry initiatives
Reentry support continues beyond incarceration through T.R.A.P., a mobile app designed to keep justice-involved women connected to the Re-Up community. The app provides consistent access to encouragement, mentorship, reentry resources, and direct communication with Tiwangi Hillard and the ReUp team.
T.R.A.P. was developed to foster ongoing community, accountability, and support, reducing the risk of recidivism by addressing barriers that often arise after release.
